During an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, The Undertaker discussed Brock Lesnar ending his Wrestlemania undefeated streak:
“I didn’t think it was going to be well-received, but the bigger picture… it was all about business rather than this guy….it was best for business. I was only wrestling here and there and they had big plans for Brock. I don’t think the impact of the streak was the biggest point more so than doing that for Brock.”
Undertaker also talked about his longevity in the wrestling business:
“I’ve talked with people and used the Bret Farve or John Elway analogy, it’s always something that I’ve been looking for to win the Super Bowl and walk away, Peyton Manning did the same thing.”
“When it’s ingrained in you and you have done this for 30 years, you have to have a passion for it and it’s not an easy life. You have to realize that pretty quickly.”
