– Mickie James announced on Instagram that her ACL is injured and she will require knee surgery. The match occurred during a Saturday night WWE live event in a match against Carmella. “I don’t know how long I’m gonna be out. I don’t know when I’m gonna have to get surgery, but it’s gonna be awhile,” said Mickie.
The injury will likely put her out of action for nine months or longer.
– In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Ryback commented on the launch of AEW:
“I’m excited, we got AEW here and I’m very happy for Cody and everybody involved in that. They have a huge advantage in wrestling right now because they’re starting fresh and and they can do it right and they can do wrestling better than WWE. Now are they going to come in and take over right away? Not right away. But if they put out a great product and they take care of the wrestlers, every pro wrestler will want to go wrestle there.”
