WWE 205 Live Results – April 30, 2019
Tony Nese says he has been fighting to build 205 Live since the first match on the first show. Things won’t change since he is the Cruiserweight Champion. He does not have to wait for his title match against Ariya Daivari. If Drew Gulak wants to face him tonight, he better be ready because he will not be facing a friend, but the champion.
Drew Gulak says things have not gone as planned to make a Better 205 Live, but things can fall into place if he beats Tony Nese tonight. That one time he did not succeed against Tony, it was an outlier. Tonight, you will tap out.

Samir and Sunil Singh have something to say before they make their way to the ring. They have been traveling the world for two years facing the likes of Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles, but they are the only undefeated team on 205 Live and they are here to take 205 Live into the future.
Match Number One: Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado versus Sunil Singh and Samir Singh
Samir and Dorado start things off and Samir backs Dorado into the corner and applies a side head lock. Samir with a shoulder tackle and he dances. Dorado with a drop kick and kick to the leg. Metalik tags in and he goes up top for a double sledge. Metalik iwth a wrist lock and Dorado tags in and he hits a double sledge. Aunil tags in and Dorado with a forearm to Samir and a boot to Sunil Dorado with a cross body onto both Singhs. Dorado wit a chop and he tags in Metalik. Metalik with a chop and Dorado tags in. Metalik with a clothesline and then Dorado with a bulldog for a near fall.
Dorado with a rear chin lock on Sunil. Dorado gets another near fall. Dorado with an arm bar and a clothesline to Samir when he tries to interfere. Sunil hits Dorado from behind and Samir tags in. Samir punches Dorado. Samir with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Sunil tags in and gets a near fall. Sunil with elbow drops and then he does a dance. Samir tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles for a forearm off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Samir with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Samir pulls Dorado back to the mat by the mask when Dorado goes for a tag.
Samir with an elbow and he tags in Sunil. Sunil kicks Dorado and applies a reverse chin lock. Sunil with a spinning heel kick to Dorado. Lince gets his boot up for Sunil but Sunil kicks Dorado. Dorado with an uppercut to Sunil and Samir stops Dorado from making the tag. Dorado with an Irish whip that sends Samir sternum first into the turnbuckles. Metalik is pulled off the apron by Sunil before Dorado can make the tag. Dorado with a handspring cutter. Sunil tags in and Dorado kicks him away. Metalik tags in and he hits a springboard cross body and then he hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Metalik with a springboard drop kick to Sunil for a near fall.
Metalik with a spinning bulldog for a near fall. Dorado makes the tag and Sunil clotheslines Metalik. Dorado runs into a double super kick and Sunil gets a near fall when Metalik breaks up the cover. Dorado with a rollup for a near fall and Metalik tags in and Sunil misses a splash into the corner. Metalik with a kick and Dorado makes the tag. Metalik with a springboard elbow drop followed by a Shooting Star Press for the three count.
Winners: Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik
Humberto Carrillo is in Drake Maverick’s office and he tells Humberto to steer clear of Drew Gulak. Humberto says he wants to prove to Drew that he belongs. Jack Gallagher stops by and tells Drake to keep him in mind. Jack says he brings no ill will to Humberto. He congratulates Humberto on beating Drew. He says they have some unfinished business.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Mike Kanellis attacks Brian Kendrick as Kendrick makes his way to the ring. Tozawa attacks Kanellis and Kanellis is sent into the ringside barrier. Tozawa with punches and Drake Maverick pulls Tozawa off Kanellis.
Ariya Daivari says things are going according to plan. He is still undefeated in 2019. He has beaten Akira Tozawa, Cedric Alexander, and Oney Lorcan. That puts him in line for a title match. Tony Nese will get ripped limb from limb by Drew Gulak. If you don’t think this ends with him being Cruiserweight Champion, you aren’t paying close enough attention.

We are back and next week Akira Tozawa will face Mike Kanellis in a No Disqualification Match.
Match Number Two: Drew Gulak versus Tony Nese in a Non Title Match
They lock up and Drew with a wrist lock. Nese tries for a reversal but Gulak holds on. Nese kicks the arm and takes Gulak down with an arm drag into an arm bar. Gulak with a head scissors and Nese escapes.
We see Ariya Daivari watching from an orange room on a monitor.
Gulak gets a near fall but Nese gets a near fall of his own. They lock up and Gulak with a chop on the break. Gulak with an Irish whip but Nese with a back elbow and he goes for a moonsault but Nese lands on his feet. Nese with kicks and Gulak goes to the floor. Nese with a slingshot and he lands on the apron when Gulak moves. Nese with a cartwheel on the apron and he connects with a knee. Nese with a Fosbury Flop onto Gulak.
Nese with a near fall. Nese with a chop that sends Gulak to the floor. Nese with a chop and Gulak tries to go into the crowd and Gulak with a punch and he sends Nese chest first into the apron. Drew with a short arm scissors. Nese with kicks to try to escape the hold. Nese escapes a back drop and Nese avoids the rolling cover. Nese with a knee for a near fall. Drew goes to the apron to avoid the running knee. Nese with a forearm and he sets for a suplex on the apron but Drew with a head butt. Nese with a kick. Drew slams Nese on the apron.
They return to the ring and Drew gets a near fall. Drew with a reverse chin lock. Drew gets Nese on his shoulders and Drew with a gutbuster for a near fall. Drew with a hammer lock and he uses Nese’s other arm for a chin lock. Drew with a front face lock but Nese puts Drew on the turnbuckles. Drew kicks Nese away and Nese with a rolling palm strike followed by a jumping Frankensteiner. Nese holds his knee after hitting the move. Nese with punches as he avoids punches from Gulak.
Nese with a face buster and running knee followed by a spinning heel kick. Nese with a running back elbow. Drew sends Nese to the apron. Nese with a forearm followed by a double jump moonsault for a near fall. Drew avoids a suplex and he goes for a reverse suplex that sends Nese to the apron. Both men fall to the floor. Drew gets back into the ring but Nese pulls Drew back to the floor and chops him. Nese sends Drew into the apron and ring steps. Nese sends Drew into the ringside barrier. Nese with a suplex on the floor. They return to the ring and Nese gets a near fall. Nese is sent into the turnbuckles and Drew gets a near fall.
Drew sets for the GuLock but Nese escapes. Nese with a leap frog and Gulak catches Nese for a sunset flip and a near fall. Gulak with a chop and Nese goes for the pump handle driver and hits it for a near fall. Nese pulls Drew into position and he goes up top. Nese sees Drew coming and connects with a forearm. Nese pulls Drew to the turnbuckles and Gulak with an elbow. Gulak gets Nese on his shoulders and Gulak with a super gutbuster for a fireman’s carry for a near fall.
Drew with a slap to Nese. Drew with another slap to Nese. Drew with a third slap. Nese blocks a slap and Nese with a forearm and punches. Drew with a head butt and Nese with a forearm. Nese misses the 450 splash when Gulak moves. Gulak with the GuLock but Nese floats over and gets a near fall. Nese with a German suplex into the turnbuckles. Gulak with a clothesline for a near fall. Nese escapes a power bomb and hits a super kick. Gulak with a sunset flip for a near fall. Nese with another German suplex into the turnbuckles. Nese with the running knee for the three count.
